Mapro Industry Visit
MAPRO is one of India’s leading manufacturers of Fruit based products from squashes and Jams to confectionary and exotic chocolates. MAPRO is a home grown Brand and is well known for its sheer range of products and best quality.
Students from First & Second year BBA & BBM(IB) went on an industrial visit to MAPRO industries in Shendurjane near Wai and MAPRO gradens in Panchgani on a visit coordinated by Prof. Priyadarshini Ranbhise & Mr. Jalaj Kumar Pandey. We were welcomed by Mr. Om Prakash Mishra ( Administrative Staff) & Mr. Mangesh ( Food Technologist) of Mapro Food Pvt Ltd.
Mr. Om Prakash Mishra briefed the students about the establishment & history of Mapro Foods Pvt Ltd. Following the brief over review, Mr. Mangesh then guided us to the Production Plant . .
We visited three production units i.e. Syrups, Jams & Confectioneries. Here we were explained in detail about the production process, Raw Material Availability, Quality Control Process, Quality Assurance, Packaging, Labeling & dispatch of material.
The students were also explained about the Warehousing , Export –Import Procedure of all the products. Brief information was also given about Management policies of Human Resource Management, Welfare Policy, Marketing Strategy and Budget Estimation.
The visit was followed by Question Answer session with the students & the company staff. The industrial visit was successful story of Business Exposure for students on how a small opportunity can become a huge business to make its identity & become a corporate identity in through proper management and a focus on quality & customer satisfaction..
