knowledge, but good individual qualities as well. CSIT provides excellent
platform to students to develop and uncut-such dynamism in its students,
developing their overall personalities, by arranging wide array of
cultural events, and co-curricular activities. |
Extra
Curricular Activities
Students are encouraged to play a leading role in organizing
Extra-curricular activities and cultural festival . There is
a special orientation programme at the beginning of term in
August and other co-curricular events are also arranged in the
auditorium in the College campus. These activities include events
like National Day , Teacher's Day , New Year Day , Sent Valentine
Day / Rose Day , Students Day and Special cultural festival
- INSIGNIA. Details of these events are communicated to students
from time to time. |

Accommodation
- On
first come first serve basis outstation 100 boy students
and 100 girl students of CSIT are provided hostel facilities
at the institutes own Hostel.
- Assistance
and guidance is also given in getting private room or flat
on rental basis.
- Hostel
Charges are Rs. 40,000/- p.a. (including 2,000/- caution
money refundable)

Co-Curricular
Activities
CSIT- Chinchwad have planned to organize -curricular activities
like seminars, workshops, personality development sessions,
and lots of project work. Personality Development classes will
be conducted depending on the student and industry requirement
together, which helps student to boost their confidence, and
groom their personality which helps them be better person and
also face interviews in a more positive way.

Seminar
hones the presentation skills of the students and also helps
develop focus and concentration given any topic. Workshops
provide the students with excellent opportunity to interact
with professional from various industries at a very pragmatic
level.
All
in all the students after being a part of these co-curricular
activities evolve as a different, more mature person geared
to meet any challenges of this world.

Rotaract
Activities
Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and
women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are usually community-based
or university-based and are sponsored by a local Rotary club
making them true "partners in service" and key members
of the Rotary family.
Through the Rotaract program, young adults not only augment
their knowledge and skills, but they also address the physical
and social needs of their communities while promoting international
understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and
service. |
Rotaractors also often spearhead the formation of Interact clubs
and participate in Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. Rotaractors
also can go on to become Ambassadorial Scholars or Group Study
Exchange team members.
The Rotaract club for youth's of College of Commerce, Science
& Information Technology,Chinchwad, was formed on 27th sept.2006.The
formation of Rotaract initiated with the formation of Rotaract
Committee of 10 members(Students) as president, vice-president,
secretary ,treasurer . The Rotary president of Nigdi selected
committee of Rotaractors . The committee reviews issues, projects,
and suggestions related to the Events and recommends to the
Board ways to enhance and strengthen Rotaract. |
